Where Old Florida Feels Like Home
Nestled minutes from Terra Ceia Bay, The Palmetto Estate welcomes you into old Florida the moment you arrive. This nearly 100-year-old Spanish Revival property sits beneath massive live oaks draped in moss, with palms and bright bougainvillea climbing the original wooden gates.
Behind eight-foot concrete walls, a large courtyard offers total privacy and that rare, “we have the whole world to ourselves” feeling. It’s quiet, timeless, and a little bit magical—ideal for weddings and gatherings that deserve something genuine, not ordinary.
“We have the whole world to ourselves tonight.”

The owner, Brent Okuley, is the reason the Palmetto Estate feels so personal. After more than two decades on the road as a tour manager and live-sound engineer, he chose a different kind of rhythm—one that keeps him closer to home and to his young son.
When he found the overgrown estate, he moved in, rolled up his sleeves, and spent years restoring every detail by hand. Because he actually lives here, Brent treats each event like it’s his own. His background in music and photography is visible throughout the property, and he’s the kind of host who remembers your name, your story, and how you like your coffee.
The Palmetto Estate isn’t just a venue to him—it’s home.
